RURAL & WILD
Norfolk's wildlife is diverse and varied. Our coastline supports two colonies of seals along the east coast and we see many migrant birds as they travel to their summer breeding grounds. The Norfolk Broads and all our surrounding countryside support many varied birds and mammals.

The sounds of the birds on the wing, from the distinctive sounds of the avocet and oystercatchers, to the sound of the geese as they migrate to our coastline during the autumn and winter months... there is nothing more exciting than hearing the first sounds of the geese arriving for the winter as they migrate from far northern shores to spend winter on our coast.

The circle of life can be seen on the beaches where the seals can be found, from the newborns to the mating rituals of the bull seals - all watched from a safe distance to prevent any disturbance.
